It's a small, single-terminal airport, which makes the practical side of arriving here simpler than at a major hub, but there are a couple of things about this specific airport worth knowing before you land.

AHB has one main terminal, so there's no guessing which building to head for. Where a transfer from Abha Airport can take you

Khamis Mushait as a practical base

Because Abha and Khamis Mushait sit close together, many visitors use one as a base for day trips into the other, and further day trips toward Najran and Jazan are practical from either city.
