Taif Airport Transfer (TIF)

Taif Regional Airport serves the cool mountain city that sits above Makkah at around 1,800 metres. The single terminal keeps arrivals simple: clear immigration, collect your bags, and meet your driver in the arrivals hall. Taif's higher altitude makes it a popular summer retreat and a comfortable base for pilgrims combining Umrah with a highland stay.

The drive from Taif to Makkah descends the dramatic Al Hada mountain road, a series of switchbacks with sweeping views. It's roughly 90 km and usually around 90 minutes, and experienced local drivers handle the gradient carefully. Entry to Makkah is for Muslims only; please verify the current rules before you travel.
