Masjid al-Qiblatain, the Mosque of the Two Qiblas
Masjid al-Qiblatain takes its name from an event remembered in Islamic history when the direction of prayer changed from Jerusalem to the Kaaba in Makkah — the mosque is where this change is said to have occurred during prayer, giving it its distinctive name, 'the mosque of the two qiblas'.
